– MAIN KITCHEN: Well equipped with all the necessities; coffee maker, bean grinder, air fryer, blender, griddle, casserole dishes, crockpot, and service for 14. Snow cone maker for kids and plenty of cooking bowls and cookie sheets. 32″ Smart TV tucked in the corner for morning news or cartoons at lunch.
– MAIN LIVING ROOM: Spacious and cozy with walk out covered patio for enjoying morning coffee or reading. In the winter months enjoy the gas fireplace, while perusing our shared book selection. Be entertained by the many birds of the “Killdeer House” from this attached walk out patio.
– OFFICE SPACE: There is always work to be done. Adjacent to the main kitchen, (so you still feel connected), is an open office work-space. Room for 2 if needed.
– MOVIE AREA: 72″ smart TV, wrap around sectional couch and plenty of cozy blankets for snuggling on movie night! (sign in to all your accounts for full use)
– GAME AREA: Let the games begin! Over 25 indoor board games, puzzles, and foosball. In winter months this fun area also offers a wood stove for extra warmth and is adjacent to the farmhouse table area.
– BAR AREA: Includes large beverage fridge, sink, glassware and all the necessities to let the good times roll. The area is adjacent to the secondary living space and the game room.
– WIFI: Stay connected while you unplug. This 1-acre property offers high speed internet with connection speeds up to 100mb download.
– HOT TUB: Soak in the hot tub in the private sunroom while watching the sunrise or take a dip at the end of your day to soothe sore muscles. Hot Tub is cleaned and maintained on a weekly basis with bromide and shock treatment.
– LAUNDRY ROOM: Full size washer and dryer for your use during your stay. Here you will find miscellaneous items you may need during your stay, please be courteous to return them when your through. Note: this property is on a septic so use of bleach is prohibited.
– POOL: Open and Heated from May through September (weather permitting), this area is one of the reasons you’re here. A half bath/changing room is stocked with pool towels, sunscreen, first aid and toys and an outside shower. Stairs lead to the shallow end with a ladder on the deep end for exiting. “Jumping” board in the deep end for cannon balls and safe play (NO Diving). Lounge chairs for sunbathing and umbrellas for those extra sunny days. (NO glass at the pool area)
– OUTSIDE KITCHEN: Stainless steel wrap around counter and bar offer the perfect place for a poolside lunch or dinner. Large gas burner and built-in smoker/bbq with stainless steel propane grill allow for meal preparation and large French drain sink for basic use. (no food, grease or excessive use). Pantry is stocked with plastic dishware and glasses and other pool side necessities.
– OUTSIDE LIVING AREA: Snuggle into the outside seating and natural gas fireplace area for taking a break during the daytime fun or getting warm on a cool night. This may become your favorite place on the property. 40” Smart TV for afternoon movies or music. (Uses the extended wifi network and may be sporadic) Located a few steps away from all the action is an open fire pit in the side yard, roasting sticks and small stack of firewood provided.
– OUTDOOR GAMES: Inground adjustable commercial basketball hoop for the athletes in your group. Ample grassy areas allow for casual football and wiffle ball games, frisbee, outdoor checkers, ladder toss, cornhole and other fun outdoor games. The large circular outside driveway is a great place for roller skating and bicycles.
– PARKING: We have amble parking with up to 5 vehicles allowed overnight. (No Parking on the grass or concrete at any time)
– LOCATION: We are centrally located in Post Falls, Idaho just a few miles from I-90 access.

– SAFETY FIRST: Safety of you, your family and your guests while staying at our home is our number one concern. First aid kits are provided in all the bathroom cabinets with fire extinguishers in both kitchens. For your safety exterior cameras are posted for security at both front and back doors as well as the yard areas. The property is suitable for those able to climb stairs and children who will be monitored during the entire stay, specifically while outdoors. The property is partially fenced but does not offer complete enclosure. There is a swimming pool on the property. Guests will be asked to leave if any of the safety rules are not adhered to. A full listing of rules is available for review and will be in the guest book at the house.
– PETS: As much as we love pets, we do not allow guest pets at the “Killdeer House”. A small charge will be added for service animals. Note: the house is not hypo-allergenic.
– PROPERTY MANAGERS: As owners and property managers of the “Killdeer House”, we offer an in person check-in upon arrival. We reside at a property next door and will be available for questions as they arise. We love our property and know you will too. We hope to see you soon!
Guest access
You will enjoy the whole house and approximately 1.5 acres of gorgeous outdoor space.
We are a county property with neighborhoods surrounding. The neighboring housing areas offer lots of walking paths. The property is fenced with a white privacy fence and sits off the road to allow for low disturbance and good privacy.
This rental excludes garage use, the use of the adjacent barn, shop and back storage. They are separate rentals, please respect the privacy of those using.
Other things to note
Booking guest is expected to sign an agreement confirming House Rules (provided after booking and return with Govt ID) within 24 hours of booking. No gatherings/parties allowed, only booked guests at any time (unless approved by host). No Smoking inside Property, $500 fee. No Animals of any kind, $500 fee and stay will be terminated. Camera on front door, yard camera (pool, outdoor kitchen, firepit, grassy area) and rear of property (barn and shop) records Audio / Video 24/7.
Absolutely NO parties on the property. Evidence of this will be terms for immediate termination of booking without refund.
